Bibiana Mayorga

She was born on October 10, 1975 in Bogota, Colombia. During her childhood she lived in Cali where she started playing tennis at the Cañasgordas Club. She participated in Nationals tournaments and at seventeen she retired from Tennis to pursue her education.

She then moved to Australia and lived there for one year and then returns to Colombia to attend the University of Externado de Colombia to study public accounting and the same time working with Price Waterhouse Coopers for five years. In 2000 she started her MBA in International Finance at the University of Western Kentucky.

Currently, she resides en Miami, Florida. She's working with Pure Nature Organics a company of frozen organic products as general manager. She's been involved with TFC since 2004.

Rodolfo Varela

Nació el 4 de Diciembre de 1976 en Cali, Colombia. Empezó a jugar tenis a los 6 años en el club Cañasgordas. Fue campeón nacional juvenil desde los 14 hasta los 18 años. Integrante de la Selección Valle a todos los torneos nacionales desde los 8 hasta los 18 años. Representó a Colombia en los suramericanos de 14 años, 16 años y 18 años. Fue campeón Suramericano en dobles en una etapa de la Gira COSAT y Semifinalista en sencillos en otra etapa de la COSAT. Fue medalla de oro (campeón) en dobles mixtos en los Juegos Deportivos Nacionales Fue el Ganador del Premio Brandy Cinco Estrellas al mejor jugador juvenil de Colombia, Miembro del equipo Copa Davis de Colombia en los años 95 y 96, Miembro del equipo ITF Satélite Traveling Team. Durante tres años estuvo jugando torneos ATP y su mejor ranking fue 812 en sencillos y 505 en dobles en el año 1996.

Posteriormente se dedicó a sus estudios profesionales y se graduó de B.Sc. en Business con énfasis en Mercadeo y Administración de empresas en la University of West Florida. En dicha Universidad hizo parte del equipo de tenis, siendo el jugador numero uno del equipo tanto en sencillos como en dobles, y quedando terceros a nivel nacional en la división 2, fue miembro en varias ocasiones del All American y del All Conference Team. Entre sus distinciones Académicas están el haber sido. Miembro del Dean List y del President List y haber sido seleccionado como "Men scholar Atlethe of the Year".

Luego de una experiencia profesional en Exel Global Logistics como coordinador de mercadeo para Latino América, regresó al mundo académico para realizar su Maestría en Negocios Internacionales en Florida International University., graduándose en el 2003. Trabajo por un ano y medio como coordinador de logística y servicio al cliente en Phoenix Packaging LLC.

Regreso a Colombia para crear Match Point Ltda. Rodolfo es el gerente general y el fundador de Match Point.

Andrés Álvarez

He was born in Medellín, Colombia on July 26, 1975. He played tennis in Colombia representing the state of Antioquia Tennis Team from 1984 through 1996. He also played for the National Team in an international competition in Bogotá in 1989. He was runner up in the National Sub-21 Category in 1996. In 1992-1993 he traveled to Kings Mountain, North Carolina to be part of an Exchange student program.

In 1994 he served in the military in Medellin and became a Lieutenant for the reserve.

During 1995 he started studying International Business at the EAFIT University in the city of Medellín. He was a member of the University tennis team and in 1996 he was the doubles national champion, singles and mixed doubles runner up. During his studies he joined an academic organization and also the International business group in which he developed several academic events.

In June 1999 he moved to Miami to complete his internship in International Business, then in 2000 he transferred to Saint Thomas University in Miami. In 2002 he obtains his Bachelor Degree in International Business. In 2001 he gets involved in social and political activities with the Colombian community in South Florida.

Presently, he is a Market Manager for SAP.USA in Miami, Florida. He is a Mentor for the students that come to Miami to perform their interships in business through EAFIT University. He enjoys the diversity of the community of South Florida which brings the multicultural atmosphere to the Tennis For Colombia events.

Ruben Torres

Ruben Torres was born on February 23, 1981. He was the Colombian Junior National Champion in the 14' s, 16' s and 18' s age groups. He was also the South American Junior Champion in under 14's and under 18' s. Ruben played and traveled as a junior along the side of players such as David Nalbandian and Guillermo Coria. In 1999, Ruben formed part of the Colombian Junior National Team giving Colombia its first South American Junior Title ever. This same team took the 3rd place at the World Junior Championships. He was also a member of the Colombian Davis Cup Team for 6 ties during 1999 and 2000.

After finishing his Junior career, he enrolled at the University of Southern California in 2001 where he earned a B.A. in International Relations, and a B.S. in Business Entrepreneurship. In 2002, he was Captain of USC' s National Championship Team which upset #1 Georgia in the NCAA finals. Ruben and the rest of the USC team were condecorated at the White House on September 25, 2002. He was recipient of the " Pac-10 Medal" awarded for outstanding achievements in leadership, academics, and athletics. He graduated with honors in May of 2005.

Upon graduation, he pursued a career in Professional Tennis for two years His highest ATP ranking was 627 in Singles and 549 in doubles. He turned to coaching in 2007 by working with Justine Henin during the U.S. Open and is now the Head Pro at a country club in Orlando-Florida.

Sandra Duque

Sandra Duque was born on April 19, 1977 in Bogota, Colombia. She started playing tennis when she was 10 years old. She played a few National tournaments in Colombia. In 1995 she went to The Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy for one year where she finished her Junior year and then moved back to Colombia to finish her Senior year. In 1998 she earned a tennis scholarship at a NCAA Division I school at The University of Texas in San Antonio where she obtained her B.A in Marketing and International Business.

During college she played 3 singles and 2 doubles. While in College they won the MAC conference tennis championship two years in a row. She earned the Arthur Ashe All Scholar Athlete Award in 1999. She was in the Golden Key National Honor Society during her college years, was on the Dean's List and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2001.

After graduating from college she pursued a career in Sales and Marketing. She first started working for Black and Decker and then got offered a job with a pharmaceutical company in New York.

Currently, she resides in Miami, Florida working for Shire Pharmaceuticals managing the North Miami Area.
